Breaking cycles of poverty requires more than financial investment; it requires meaningful partnerships, trust, and a commitment to building success alongside the families we serve.
At Pittsburgh Scholar House, we remain grounded in the resilience, wisdom, and lived experiences of single-parent families who work every day to create brighter futures for themselves and their children.
This report highlights the impact we achieved together through educational attainment, housing stability, emergency support, and family-centered programming. As we continue expanding our residential initiatives and prepare to launch workforce readiness programming through Ready2Prosper, we are building stronger pathways toward long-term economic mobility and generational prosperity for Scholar-families.
We are grateful for the partners, funders, and supporters who make this work possible and who continue investing in the potential of single-parent families across our region. — Dr. Daren Ellerbee, CEO
